Quicker custom commands
Improved
Your own chat bot commands can now go off every 15 seconds (was 30). Still only for you, your mods and your subs. For streamers
0.22.0.110626beta
!commands, course votes and roasts
New
!commands: NoBalls_Bot replies with the commands that work right now in one line, including your own. One answer every 30 seconds for the whole chat. For streamersFor players
When chat votes on the next course, the bot posts the choices (“!vote 1 Pinballs · !vote 2 Spin Cycle”) and then the winner. For streamersFor players
Roast deaths (off unless you switch it on): now and then a spectacular death gets an @ in chat, like “@kiwi was SO close. The gears did not care.” One a race at most, real players only. For streamersFor players
0.21.0.110526beta
Your own bot commands
New
Chat bot: add up to 5 commands of your own on Stream setup, like !bbe → “Big Bush Energy!!!”. NoBalls_Bot answers when you, a mod or a sub types one, at most once every 30 seconds each. For streamers
Race moments: switch them on and, after each race, the bot posts its best moment in chat, like “Moment of race 2: kiwi chose violence.” In your own commentary words if you wrote some. For streamersFor players
Improved
NoBalls_Bot keeps to Twitch’s message limits across every channel it posts in, so a busy night can’t get it muted. Results come first, then answers, then commands and moments. For streamers
Stream setup says whether NoBalls_Bot is a mod in your chat. As a mod it posts at full speed, so making it a mod is now the main setup step. For streamers
0.20.0.110526beta
NoBalls_Bot calls the Derby
New
In the BallBucks Derby, NoBalls_Bot posts each race in chat: sign-ups, betting open, 10 seconds left, bets closed, then the winner with what it paid, the biggest wins, the jackpot and who went broke. The overall standings stay for the podium, and the bot names the richest bettor when the podium does. For streamersFor players
0.19.0.110526beta
Ask NoBalls_Bot
New
NoBalls_Bot answers more commands in chat, as a reply to your message: !rank (your own place in the series), !stats (your career on every channel), !course (the course and who made it) and !howto. In the BallBucks Derby, !odds shows the favorites and the longest shot. For streamersFor players
Improved
After each race the bot posts the race's top 3, not the series standings: those stay a surprise for the podium. It names the champion the moment the podium does, never before. For streamersFor players
0.18.2.110526beta
A tidier Stream setup
Improved
Stream setup is in three groups: The game, On screen and Your channel, without the numbered steps. More options sits with the on-screen settings. For streamers
Chat bot: when Twitch won't take a message, the status line says why once, not twice. For streamers
0.18.1.110526beta
Approving the chat bot
Fixed
Approve on Twitch now asks which Twitch account to use, so it works even when your browser is still signed in to Twitch as someone else. For streamers
Making NoBalls_Bot a mod counts as approving it: once a message gets through, the approve step goes away. If Twitch stops letting it post, the step comes back. For streamers
If approving goes wrong, the message names both Twitch accounts and links back to Stream setup. For streamers
0.18.0.110526beta
NoBalls_Bot in your chat
New
Chat bot: switch it on in Stream setup and NoBalls_Bot posts in your Twitch chat while the game runs. A new series starting, who joined (together in one line), each race starting, each winner with the standings, and the champion. For streamersFor players
In the BallBucks Derby, !mybets and !balance are answered in chat as a reply to your own message, so the screen stays clear. If the bot can't post, the answer shows on screen as before. For streamersFor players
One step on Twitch to let it post: Approve on Twitch from Stream setup, or make it a mod with /mod NoBalls_Bot. Say hello in my chat checks it works. For streamers
Test in browser shows what the bot would say in the Simulated chat panel, without posting anything. For streamers
0.17.1.110526beta
Move the test chat
Improved
Test in browser: drag the Simulated chat panel anywhere by its title bar. It stays where you leave it, and a double-click on the title bar puts it back. For streamers
0.17.0.110526beta
Sharper courses
Improved
Course pieces are drawn with 2 to 4 times the detail, so pegs, spinners, walls and the rest keep crisp edges when a course makes them bigger or the camera zooms in.

Our own Twitch category
New
No Balls Allowed is now a game category on Twitch. Find everyone streaming it from On Twitch at the bottom of the site, or from the Live page.
Stream setup's Getting started now ends with setting your stream's category to No Balls Allowed, so viewers browsing the category find you. For streamers

Every ball starts on the course
Fixed
On the first race after a course loaded, a few balls could start partly inside a wall. Every starting spot is now checked against the course properly. For streamersFor players
A ball sent back to the start, or freed after getting stuck, always lands on the map and never inside a wall or above the top of the course. For streamersFor players

Cleaner Derby races
Improved
BallBucks Derby: the gold rings and bet tags on the marbles during the race are gone, along with their setting and !rings. Who bet what is still in the standings, Riding on this race, the betting board and !mybets. For streamersFor players
0.15.1.110426beta
Betting info on the marbles: your choice
New
BallBucks Derby: choose the betting info on the marbles during the race in Stream setup: rings and tags, rings only, or off. Mods can switch it mid-stream with !rings (or press B in Test in browser). The standings and Riding on this race show the bets either way. For streamers
0.15.0.110426beta
See who bet what
New
BallBucks Derby: every bet pops up on the betting board as it lands: who bet, how much, on which runner, what it pays and what they have left (or ALL IN). The runner's row lights up with their name too. For streamersFor players
During the race, the runners with the most money on them wear a gold ring with their bets and total, and the standings show each runner's bets and total. For streamersFor players
"Riding on this race" in the standings column lists the biggest bets and what each would pay. For streamersFor players
Type !mybets (or !balance) to see your bets, what each would pay, what you have left and where you rank. During a race your runner's ring pulses so you can find it. For players
When lots of chat types at once, bets, answers and "joined!" pops in hands-off group together into one card instead of waiting in a long line. For streamers
0.14.0.110426beta
Room for your webcam
New
Webcam space in Stream setup: keep the top-right or bottom-right corner clear for your webcam. The standings, spotlight photo and between-race screens move out of its way, and your setup page shows exactly where to put your webcam in OBS. For streamers
Standings beside the course: give the standings their own column so they never cover the race. BallBucks Derby always works this way. For streamers
Test in browser shows your webcam's spot as a dashed box, so you can line it up. For streamers
0.13.0.110226beta
Your own bot names
New
Put friends, family or running jokes in the race: add your own bot names in Look & words. They race first in hands-off, as BallBucks Derby runners and in demo races, and the game’s names fill any spots left. For streamers
Fixed
Race commentary no longer cheers a new leader after someone has already won the race.

Easier to find the Live page switch
New
While your stream isn’t shown on the Live page, a note under your game link says so and takes you straight to the switch. For streamers
Fixed
With Larger text in OBS, the course now fills the screen up to the standings again (it could stop around halfway, most often in BallBucks Derby), and no longer tucks under the top bar. For streamers
0.12.2.110126beta
Course art is back
Fixed
The permanent game link shows the boost pads and course backgrounds again. For streamers
Streamer pages no longer look for a course folder they don’t have, which showed as a “404” in the browser console. For streamers
0.12.1.110126beta
A quieter console
Fixed
Streamer pages no longer show a harmless “404” error in the browser console while they load. For streamers

New

0.11.1.103126beta
Stream words, and Awards & commentary
Improved
Look & words is now two pages in the side menu: Stream words, and Awards & commentary. Each part opens on its own and shows how much you’ve changed, with a small picture of where it appears on stream. For streamers
Your page name moved to Getting started, next to your game link. For streamers
0.11.0.103126beta
Your own award names and commentary
New

0.10.1.103126beta
Ground rules for page wording
New
Your page wording can’t include links or hate slurs. Swearing is up to you. If something can’t be saved, the box is outlined in red and you’re told why. For streamers
Improved
Emoji in your wording stay whole, and very long words wrap instead of running off the screen. For streamers
0.10.0.103126beta
Join once, or every race
New
A new “Joining” choice for series and hands-off: Once per series (as before), or Every race, where everyone types !play before each race. Seats turn over, and people who left drop out on their own. For streamers
In an Every race series your points and your hat stay with you, even if you sit a race out. For players
Improved
A full race tells you which race to try next. For players
Race commentary and award names call players “they” instead of assuming “she”.
0.9.1.103026beta
Better “Caught on camera” photos
Fixed
The “Caught on camera” photo is taken the moment it happens, so it matches the caption. For streamersFor players
The marble always shows in the photo, even under decorations, and the photo lines up in OBS at Larger text. For streamers
American spelling across the site (color, favorite, center).
0.9.0.103026beta
Race commentary, and you can ask for a page
